Dirk is an Senior Gamification Designer based in the Netherlands. He masters the craft of weaving together game mechanics into cohesive systems, creating designs that drive long-lasting user engagement.

Within The Octalysis Group, Dirk works with global organizations, leading projects from early design through implementation and real-world execution. His portfolio includes Salesforce, streamlining internal training for 75.000+ employees; Pourri, shaping the future of loyalty programs with daily consumer interaction; the Bible Project, deepening religous study through curiosity and exploration; ING Bank, offering millions of customers exclusive cashback deals; and Booking.com, mapping out their Octalysis inspired Hospitality Program Framework.

As the technical lead of Octalysis Prime, Dirk oversees product architecture, leads the development team, and translates gamification theory into a robust learning platform.
