Tiago is an Octalysis Associate, working on gamification projects in U.S. and South America.
Tiago started his career as an automation engineer for Siemens, designing industrial projects for some of the greatest Brazilian companies. Six years into Siemens and he decided to leave to cofound a health promotion startup to deal with one of the greatest challenges of the century: engagement and cost reduction in the healthcare world.
Along this journey, he read, watched and commented on everything gamification-related available online and developed a good practical understanding of UX/UI, user behavior and gameful design.
When Tiago is not creating gameful experiences and reading about games, he likes to play board and card games, study about life – the greatest game of all time? – and do the most playful thing possible: play with his little son. It is said that he will only stop searching for games when he finds the rules of the perfect one.
